The Southmont girls’ basketball team pushed its record to 7-0 with a 49-39 win over Frontier on Saturday.
The Mounties overcame a 16-15 deficit after a quarter to take a 28-24 lead into halftime. The Falcons responded by tying it at 31-31 after three quarters, but Southmont outscored Frontier 18-8 in the final period, behind eight fourth quarter points from Sidney Veatch.
The senior tied for a team-high 13 points with fellow senior Natalie Manion. Addison Charles added seven points.
Southmont travels to North Vermillion on Monday.
