Saturday afternoon Crawfordsville girls basketball took on Danville in their second Sagamore Conference matchup of the season for the Athenians.
The Warriors would keep CHS out of the conference win column with a 54-30 win.
"I thought we competed hard and didn't hang our heads," Crawfordsville coach Tyler Smith said. "Second chance points killed us and we didn't execute the first part gameplan. I felt like if we did those things we could've been in the game. We'll learn a lot from this one and keep moving forward."
The Athenians fall to 3-5 (0-2 SAC) with the loss and will travel to Lebanon Friday night for a girl/boy double-header.
