
Wabash College junior guard Jack Davidson has been named to the 2019-2020 Academic All-District VII Men's Basketball Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Davidson earned All-District honors for the second consecutive season. Davidson is majoring in economics with a 3.59 cumulative grade point average. He ranks second among North Coast Athletic Conference players in scoring with a 20.3 points-per-game average. He also leads the NCAC in three-point field goal percentage at 43.1 percent (69-of-160). Davidson surpassed 1,600 career points and currently ranks seventh on the Wabash all-time scoring list with a total of 1,611 career points. He ranks second in Wabash basketball history with 502 made free throws, trailing only Chad Tabor in first place with 535. Davidson broke the NCAA all-divisions consecutive made free throws record last season, hitting 95 consecutive attempts over 14 games. Davidson was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team for the 2018-2019 season. He earned the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III Great Lakes District Player of the Year Award and was an NABC First Team All-America selection last season. Davidson was named to the D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Fourth Team at this start of this season. Davidson advances to the Academic All-America ballot.
