Crawfordsville and Northridge faced off in a pair of seventh and eighth-grade boys’ middle school basketball games on Wednesday night at Crawfordsville Middle School. The Cougars won the seventh-grade game 47-21, while the Athenians got revenge in the eighth-grade game with a 39-32 win. In the seventh-grade game, Cameron Enlow led all scorers with 22 points for the Cougars, while Kelby Harwood chipped in 15. Neal Jeffrey added six, while Beckett Martin and Camden Claycomb each scored two. Hayden Craig and Tanner Gilland each scored five for the Athenians. Anthony Lee Grayson added three, while Ben Schlicher, Alec Saidian, Eli Williams, and Sam Minnette each had two. In the eighth-grade game Drake Burris led the Athenians with 12 points, while Jordan Shrout and Ethan McLemore each added 11, and Kale Wemer chipped in four. Tyson Fuller scored one point. Jarrod Kirsch led the Cougars with 13 points, while Gabe Shirar added seven, and Ross Dyson, and Kerbe Cottrell added four apiece. Jacob Rice and Nate McCoy each scored two points.
