The sectional draw for the Indiana High School Athletic Association state girls basketball tournament was announced on Sunday. Crawfordsville, North Montgomery, and Southmont all play at Southmont, while Fountain Central plays at Lafayette Central Catholic. Crawfordsville (2-17) and Southmont (5-13) will square off in the first game on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. It will be the second meeting between the two teams in seven days, as they will play at Crawfordsville tomorrow night at 6 p.m. The winner will play Lebanon (9-10) in the first semi-final game on Friday night, Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. The Athenians fell to Lebanon 68-43 on Nov. 30, while the Mounties play the Tigers this Friday in the regular season finale at Lebanon at 6 p.m. North Montgomery (3-18) received a bye and will play the winner of Greencastle (12-7), and Benton Central (20-3), who play in the second game on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. The Chargers fell in the regular season to the Bison 89-26 on Nov. 27, and to the Tiger Cubs 64-35 on Jan. 8. The Championship game is set for Saturday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. Fountain Central (3-17) faces off against Clinton Prairie (16-5) in the second game on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. The Mustangs loss to the Gophers 67-37 in the season opener. Rossville (5-14), Central Catholic (16-5), Covington (12-8), Seeger (17-3), and Delphi (11-8) round out the seven-team sectional.
