LINDEN — North Montgomery was trying to win its first conference game of the season as Lebanon traveled to Linden. The visiting Tigers left Charger gym victorious Friday evening 49-28. Lebanon (7-8) was led by Junior Michael Reese who tallied a game high 20 points. The game was tight throughout the first half, and the Tigers held onto a slim 5 point halftime lead, 19-14. North Montgomery (2-12) didn’t have an answer for Reese or Junior Burtron, who finished with 13, in the second half as Lebanon moves to 4-2 in Sagamore Conference play and North Montgomery falls to 0-4. The Chargers were led by Junior Preston Shaw who finished with nine. Lebanon will host Southmont next Friday night at 7:30 and North Montgomery will travel to West Lafayette for a non-conference game Tuesday evening also beginning at 7:30.
