North Montgomery’s Eric Danforth resigned on Tuesday after two seasons as the Chargers boys basketball coach.
A week after the Chargers were knocked out of the boys basketball state tournament, Danforth informed the team’s players that he was stepping down citing health reasons.
It was the day prior to North Montgomery’s 49-37 loss to Lebanon in the first round of the IHSAA Sectional that Danforth says he had his latest bout with vertigo, something he’s been dealing with for more than a year.
