FRANKFORT – Due to the impending weather, both North Montgomery girls and boys basketball teams concluded play of the Indiana Kitchen Classic a day early on Thursday afternoon. Shooting and defense are two things that North Montgomery boys basketball can do very well. Unfortunately for the Chargers on Thursday afternoon in the championship game against Frankfort, those two things were their downfall in their 53-34 loss. Chargers win 2OT thriller, advance to title game
DELPHI – North Montgomery needed two extra periods to defeat North Newton 49-47 in the semi-final game of the Delphi Kitchen Classic. Junior Ross Dyson scored on a short jumper as time expired in the game to propel the Chargers to today’s championship.
