Lady Mounties survive turnover woes vs Cougars
The Lady Mounties took the court for the first game of the night against the Cougars and it turned into a nail-biter late. When all was said and done however Southmont was victorious 62-60 and got back to .500 with a 4-4 record (0-1 SAC). Mounties looking to fulfill potential, have breakthrough season
Last season was an up and down one for Southmont boys basketball. An 11-10 season and a loss in the sectional to eventual state-runner up Parke Heritage saw the Mounties season come to an abrupt end. This year with once again an upperclassmen led squad and Southmont will look to capitalize off of its potential.
