GREENCASTLE — Southmont’s basketball season came to an end at the hands of a hot-shooting Cloverdale team in a 100-62 first-round loss in Class 2A Section 44 tournament play. The Clovers (19-6) avenged an earlier-season loss to the Mounties and move on to play North Putnam in semifinal action Friday, while South’s season ends at 11-11.
